Denee has worked in the fitness industry since the age of 18, as a Fitness Instructor/Personal Trainer and has always dreamed of opening a gym in her hometown of Rustico at a young age. Denee is dedicated in bringing health and wellness into the community by creating a fitness facility with a welcoming and friendly atmosphere that encourages people to live a healthy and active lifestyle. Denee’s goal is to motivate and educate people young and old, about the importance of leading an active lifestyle.
Low Impact Fitness
Low Impact Fitness is a low impact workout for individuals that have arthritis, joint issues and/or is a fitness beginner. This workout is developed to increase muscle mass, cardiovascular endurance, core stability, strength and flexibility. These are important components of an individual’s health that decrease as we age.
Spin is a cardio class that is instructed on stationary bikes. This class will help improve cardio, leg power and endurance, while being motivated through the use of upbeat music. This class pushes you through numerous biking drills to create a biking experience that will leave you breathless.
Functional Fitness is a class that manipulates everyday movements into a great total body workout. This class will help increase mobility, stability and balance, which will help individuals perform everyday movements such as lifting and twisting with ease and reduce the risk of potential injuries.
Chair and Balance
Chair and Balance Class is designed for adults with mobility challenges resulting from diseases such as arthritis, fibromyalgia, osteoporosis, cerebral palsy, etc.. Increased movement of the joints and muscles helps build balance, co-ordination and strength, which is needed to ensure the best quality of life possible for each individual.
Cardio Stretch is an hour workout that consists of 30 minutes of intense interval cardio drills and 30 minutes of stretching. This class will build cardio endurance, flexibility and over all mobility.
Kardio Kick is a kickboxing base workout that builds cardiovascular endurance, hand eye coordination, core strength, power, confidence and much more! Great class to attend after a stressful day at work!
